My dress is brown. The layers underneath are black. This is representative of the darkness that those who are enslaved deal with day in and day out. My pin will be filled with bright colors each day symbolizing the hope that can found in a God who loves justice...a God who cares deeply for those in slavery...a God who weeps at the sight of a man buying a young girl's virginity and then raping her fragile body. God is using His people to restore the world. Please join me this month in praying for these girls...praying that more people would answer God's call to fight for those who can't fight for themselves.
The BLOOD of Jesus conquers death and gives hope. LOVE always wins. |
I can't help but think of the young women who are standing outside with me tonight a few miles down the road but in very different circumstances. |
I love the meaning behind what you are wearing. Light is definitely shining into the darkness and it can bring change. Love does always win. Love you! =)
